Yarn: Medium weight (I used an entire skein of Vanna’s Choice. If I’d have had to do one more round, I probably would have run out of yarn.)

Difficulty: 6/10

Time spent: 2.5-3 hours

I asked my sister-in-law to pick a pattern out of my Crochet One-Skein Wonders book. She chose this Pinwheel Newsboy Hat. It’s a very cute pattern, but mine doesn’t look nearly as cute as the picture in the book.

I gave this project a difficulty of 6/10 because I had to learn a new stitch pattern and reread the pattern a couple of times. Once I got the pattern down, I really liked it. I can totally see using this technique on a purse.
