I feel like everyone has that elusive project that they just can’t master. For me, it’s been socks.

I’ve been enamored by beautiful sock yarn in the past and decided to try making them. They ended up HUGE. Every. Single. Time. Frustrated, I even purchased a sock-knitting loom. No success there either.

Last month’s Happy Yarn Mail was met with a little bit of trepidation on my part:

I didn’t jump right it like most months. I let the yarn sit and stare at me for a while mustering the courage to start.

Thankfully, a video was included with the exclusive pattern. It looked easy.

It was.

Each sock took less than an hour to make, and the instructions were clear enough that I could change them from a size 9 to a 5/6 to fit my feet.
