‘Tis the Season to Wear a Scarf

I woke up to a dusting of snow on the ground this morning. Something tells me more is coming. Some mornings we wake up to nostril-freezing temperatures, so it’s time to pull out the hats, gloves, and SCARVES.

Over the years, I’ve posted many scarf patterns on my this site. The easiest way to find all of the links is to use the search bar to look for “Scarf.” Doing so will show all the scarves I’ve made as well as the patterns I’ve written.

I’ve decided to feature my patterns in this post.

1. Daisy Chain Scarf

The Daisy Chain Scarf is my newest scarf pattern. You can read about it here or purchase the pattern directly from my ETSY site. Usually $4.99, the scarf is currently listed for $3.74 during my holiday sale.

While I styled this scarf as a fall scarf in the photo, the Scarfie yarn that it is made with makes it the perfect weight and warmth for winter.

2. Spring Is Coming Scarf

This is another one of my paid patterns. You can read about it here or purchase it here. While the flowers give it a spring touch, the scarf itself is made of warm, bulky yarn. Orginally, this scarf was designed for a pink-loving friend. It’s a great way to use up some yarn or stitch in any color imaginable.

3. Winter Wonderland Scarf

This free scarf pattern also has a matching hat and blanket! Evergreen trees are stiched on the ends of the scarf. You can read about the whimsical scarf here. I love the modern colors.

4. Quick V-Stitch Scarf

This scarf was made as part of a challenge I gave myself a few years back. I used scrap yarn to make a quick, colorful scarf. You can find the free pattern here.

5. Snowy Owl Scarf

This free pattern was created and named because I thought the yarn itself looked like the feathers of a snowy owl. It uses bulky, fuzzy yarn and is so comfy cozy. You can even make a headband to match. Read more about it here.

Which scarf will you make? I’d love to see pictures of your finished work. Tag me on Facebook or Instagram @thehazelnutskein.

Happy stitching!
